Our growing Occupational Medicine practice has an excellent full-time or part-time employment opportunity for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Occupational Medicine team located in Bakersfield, California. The selected candidate will be responsible for the management and treatment of our Occupational Medicine patients in collaboration with the patient’s employer, and/or insurance carrier. This will involve the management, but not limited to, the following:

· Employment physicals

· Executing procedures and services

· Workers' compensation treatment and follow-up

· Ordering, interpreting and evaluating laboratory and diagnostic data

· Prescribing medications

· Developing a treatment plan that is consistent with our Medical Director’s treatment philosophy

Must have current DEA, and California state license.

Work schedule is Monday - Friday, 8am to -5pm for full-time employment. Part-time employment schedule to be discussed at interview.
