Position: Maintenance Technician

Location: Boulder, Colorado | Teen Residential Treatment Center

Schedule: Monday to Friday 8:00am to 4:30pm (on call as needed for emergencies)

Job/Position Overview: Responsible for maintenance and repair at our facilities. Duties may include carpentry, light electrical work, plumbing, painting, and landscaping. The facilities are substance use and co-occurring disorder treatment centers, so comfort working around clients is required. Extra care must be taken to maintain client safety, including keeping close track of tools that may be used by clients to harm themselves or others as well as maintaining client confidentiality.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Prior experience in construction/maintenance required
• Must have a valid drivers license with no restrictions or outstanding violations
• Ability to lift 50 lbs.
• Comfort working on ladders required
• Strong problem solving skills a must
• Must be an independent worker with excellent communication skills, both with their supervisor and with adolescent clients they may encounter
• Experience working in a high pace environment requiring attention to detail
• Familiarity with the Microsoft Office productivity suite a plus
