Community Memorial Healthcare is Hiring a Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP III, NICU) Near Ventura, CA

Compensation:

The pay range above represents the lowest possible rate for the position and the highest possible rate. Factors that may be used to determine where newly hired employees will be placed in the pay range include the employee specific skills and qualifications, relevant years of experience and comparison to other employees already in this role. Most often, a newly hired employee will be placed below the midpoint of the range.

Pay for PRN positions is calculated differently than Full-Time, Regular Part-Time, and Part-Time positions. PRN Rates depend on the position and other factors, including years of experience, or shift commitment according to the department policy. PRN differential is added in certain positions.

Responsibilities:

NICU Respiratory Therapist (RCP III)

Position Overview:

To provide all aspects of respiratory care to neonatal patients in the NICU, nursery, labor and delivery, emergency room, surgery, and on transport. Act as a Charge RCP when a RCP IV not available.

* FULL-TIME POSITIONS MAY BE ELIGIBLE FOR A $3,000.00 SIGN-ON BONUS AND $1,000.00 EMPLOYEE REFERRAL BONUS *

Qualifications:

Salary Range: $38.25 - $57.65 / hour

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Graduate of an AMA-approved school of respiratory therapy and be registered (RRT) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Completion of CMH NICU Training Program or two years documented advance practice clinical experience in NICU, Labor and delivery, competency in neonatal intubation.
  • Current RCP license issued by the State of California Respiratory Care Board.
  • Must be Registered ( RRT ) by the National Board of Respiratory Care (NBRC).
  • Must have current Basic Cardiac Life Support ( BLS ) for Healthcare providers.
  • Current Neonatal Resuscitation Program ( NRP )
  • Current Pediatric Advance Life Support ( PALS )
