POSITION PURPOSE AND SUMMARY Under the general supervision of the Executive Director of Imaging Services, and the accordance with guidelines established by the Medical Director, functions as a manager in the Radiation Therapy Department. Assumes immediate responsibility for the operations of the Radiation Therapy Department and assists in the supervision of the daily activities of the personnel. Ensure the quality control standards are implemented and observed. All responsibilities administered by the position will concern the optimum level of patient care in accordance with the institution#s established policies and procedures. The delivery of all therapeutic services shall be rendered to correspond with the recognized and accepted parameters of medical technology. Functions as a clinical resource for the department and performs the work of a therapist, when necessary. # EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Bachelor#s degree required or completion within two years. Masters preferred. Graduate of an approved school of Radiation Therapy Program and/or Radiology Program Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologist license and Indiana Radiologic Technologist or Radiation Therapy license. Minimum of five years-related managerial experience required Basic computer knowledge. Competent in Microsoft Office applications. Competent in HIS functionality Operates equipment utilized in the department Able to communicate effectively in English, both verbally and in writing.
