SCHEDULE:
Full-Time, 8:00am - 4:30pm
REQUIREMENTS:
Recent hands on handyman experience including carpentry in residential remodeling
Experience using hand and power tools such as drills, chisels, sanders, saws, and nail guns
Basic knowledge in the areas of drywall installation, taping, wallpapering, painting, and plumbing
Knowledge of the proper sequence of work in a remodeling project
Basic knowledge and ability to work with lighting and electrical units
Must be team-oriented, dependable, resourceful, flexible and results-driven
Must be well organized with strong general repair skills
Ability to communicate effectively and have great people skills
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
Job duties include various general maintenance assignments: basic pluming, painting, installing appliances, loading and unloading equipment/material.
Upkeep and repair tasks at the interior or exterior of company premises by doing various odd jobs.
Maintain proper conditions for all tools, equipment and supplies
General repairs including repairing doors, etc.
Painting interior and exterior structures
Interior and exterior repairs as well as any other repairs or cleaning as needed
Coordinating with assigned lead and/or supervisor and other employees for the purpose of completing projects and work orders efficiently
Completing projects within established time frames
Processing written materials (e.g. work orders, etc.) for the purpose of documenting activities and/or conveying information
Repairing a variety of equipment, systems
Requesting equipment and supplies for the purpose of ensuring availability of items required to complete the assigned task
Repairing and maintaining floors
Maintaining a professional, courteous demeanor when interacting with residents, guests, vendors, and coworkers
Perform routine landscaping on the grounds
Help maintain a clean and well-organized shop
