CDC has a full-time opportunity for aDental Hygienist at our St. Paul clinic. This position serves as an integral member of the clinical team in providing high quality and caring dentistry as well as an exceptional patient experience.

Experienced Hygienists and recent graduates are encouraged to apply!

*We are offering loan repayment for this position with a 2-year commitment and a quarterly hygiene incentive bonus. We will also pay or reimburse for licensing fees incurred three months prior to hire.

Dental Hygienist Responsibilities: Perform full scope of procedures as outlined in the Delegated Procedures List created by the Board of Dentistry. 

Key Functions:

  • Provide comprehensive dental care with a focus on the health needs of the patients
  • Perform preliminary and existing charting of the oral cavity and surrounding structures 
  • Perform initial and periodic examinations and assessments
  • Formulate a dental hygiene treatment plan in coordination with a dentist’s treatment plan
  • Complete debridement, prophylaxis, and nonsurgical periodontal therapy; place subgingival medicaments.
  • Provide nutritional counseling
  • Administer nitrous oxide inhalation analgesia and monitor patient
  • Apply topical medications including fluoride varnishes and desensitizing agents
  • Make referrals to dentists, medical doctors, and other practitioners in consultation with a dentist 

Hours: Flexible Monday – Friday full-time and part-time hours available 

Dental Hygienist Qualifications: 

  • Dental Hygienist license 
  • Experience working with culturally diverse communities
  • Ability to quickly adapt within a fast-paced work environment
  • CPR/AED certification
  • Proficiency in a second language preferred
