Community Care Physicians is Hiring an Infusion RN Near Schenectady, NY
The Hours AreMonday through Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 4:30 P.M., days are flexible.
This position is eligible for up to a $3,000 recruitment and retention bonus Responsibilities:
Placement and care of IV sites Obtain blood specimens by peripheral vein and ports Mixing and administration of chemotherapy products; on the job training Administration of injections Patient education of chemotherapy regimens and side effect management.
Document verbal conversations with patients when appropriate Document information into patient record in an accurate, legible and timely manner.
Assess vital signs and the reason for each patient visit Triage patient phone calls:
collect, analyze and create a well-documented plan of care for the patient based on their present symptoms and expected healthcare outcomes.
Prepare patient for visit as appropriate, based on office and provider requirements.

Strong IV skills.
Previous experience in an RN role.
Strong computer skills.
Knowledge of basic nursing principles and protocols.
Knowledge of medical chart reporting/records.
