Overview
We are hiring compassionate, hard working, friendly and reliable Direct Support Professionals to work with individuals with intellectual and/or developmental disabilities. (I/DD).
Shift for this position: Monday and Tuesday 9am-5pm Thursday and Friday 3pm-7pm Troutville
We need someone who likes to be active, hiking and exercising. To be active with the client.

Responsibilities

• Teaching skills to promote independence
• Supporting community inclusion and integration
• Assisting with daily living needs
• Mentoring individuals to help build social skills and relationships
• Provide guidance and support in daily activities

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older
• High School diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver's license
• You might be driving to client's home or with client, so a reliable form of transportation and good driving record
• 1 year of experience working with individuals with disabilities
