Baptist Health is Hiring an Assistant Director, Environmental Services Near Lexington, KY

Job Description:
Full-time First
  • Responsible for overseeing all functions of the Environmental Services department.
  • Adheres to all state and federal regulations regarding Environmental Services, Daily operations of Environmental Services department, staffing allocation, training, scheduling, Adheres to patient safety protocols.
  • Ensures that quality standards, schedule completion, and team performances are met on a daily basis.
  • Oversight includes: budget fiduciary requirements; logistics and inventories; employee selection, training, and development; productivity performance; discipline; inter-departmental communications.
  • Daily Management (LEAN) board metrics, and others as assigned; Responsible and accountable for the planning, organization, leading, evaluating, and directing of the above-mentioned departments in a manner which will promote high quality of service.
Minimum Education, Experience, Training, and Licensures Required:
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare management or relevant field.
  • Working knowledge of the Joint Commission accreditation requirements / standards.
  • Minimum of five years senior leadership role in Hospital Based Environmental Services.
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills.
  • Excellent written and oral communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Must possess a valid driver's license.
