ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
•Load and unload shipments onto or from delivery vehicles
•Assess shipments for quality and freight damage upon receipt
•Complete receiving documents with accuracy for system input
•Locate and pull inventory to fill various customer orders
•Return remaining stock material to appropriate storage area in racking system
•Package outbound material per standard packaging methods to ensure safe transit
•Complete all shipping documents required for inclusion with each package
•Maintain clean and organized work environment
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS
•Able to easily discern numbers to accurately work with weights and measurements
•Self-motivated and committed to safety as demonstrated through previous work
•Able to stand for long periods of time, bending, pivoting and lifting up to 50 lbs unassisted
•Comfortable working in fast-paced, team environment
•Strong attention to detail and accuracy
•Basic computer knowledge
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Less than high school education; or up to one month related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
CERTIFICATES, LICENSES, REGISTRATIONS
Certified to operate a forklift
