OVERVIEW:

Seeking Business Analyst to join our Electrical and HVAC Engineering Department for a hybrid role (on-site and remote combination) located in Farmington Hills, MI.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Job Functions (include but are not limited to):

• Analyzing internal and external quality data and creating reports that help users quickly and effectively understand the information.
• Developing and maintaining analytic tools to support priority setting of quality activities. Providing general support within the group for data analysis, maintaining the SharePoint site, and organizing meetings.
• Support implementation and deployment of Digital Dashboards of Key Process Indicators (KPIs) for R&D Functional and Regional quality goals.
• Create and Publish Monthly Quality Reports.
• Assist and provide guidance to report users with functionality, logic, and application.
• Effectively communicate issues identified from quality data analysis.
• Identify and propose improvements to existing reports and tools.
• Update reports to maintain alignment of quality objectives.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor's Degree.
• 2 - 5 Years Demonstrated Microsoft Excel and Access knowledge and experience is required.
• Ability to identify, extract, and compile information from different data sources utilizing appropriate MS Excel or MS Access functions/tools such as IF, INDEX, MATCH, V/H-LOOKUP, pivot tables, and queries.
• Ability to utilize Tableau for Data Visualization.
• Strong analytical thinking with ability to understand and analyze quality data from multiple sources and explain results.
• Strong initiative, organization, planning, and time management skills.
• Ability to work on multiple projects at one time.
• Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Python knowledge/experience is a plus.
• Automotive and/or Engineering experience a plus.
