Akkodis is seeking a skilled Data Engineer with a passion for Python programming and a knack for transforming raw data into actionable intelligence. If you're ready to join a dynamic team at the forefront of automotive analytics, this opportunity is for you.
Responsibilities:
Data Engineering (50%)
Obtain and manage diverse data sets from multiple sources, transforming noisy data into clean, usable datasets.
Design and implement process improvements: from data discovery to automation, optimizing data delivery, and enhancing scalability.
Assemble and maintain complex data sets to meet business requirements.
Evaluate and implement new technologies for efficient data extraction, aggregation, and analytics.
Establish and maintain standards for data design, development, and maintenance.
Collaborate with IT&S to ensure data architecture supports business needs.
Participate in knowledge sharing, code reviews, and design discussions.
Reporting Functions (30%)
Develop Python tools and reports to enhance data understanding and efficiencies for various teams.
Create methods to connect data sources for deeper understanding, analysis, and reporting.
Collaboration and Support (20%)
Partner with Data Scientists and Analysts to understand business needs and enhance data analytics.
Collaborate with other teams to improve efficiencies and create synergies.
Support data requests from management and create special reports.
Required
2 years of Python programming experience.
Strong understanding of statistical modeling, predictive analysis, and data mining.
Hands-on experience with Python and relevant packages.
IT/Systems/Database background.
Strong analytical and self-organizing skills.
Proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
Ability to present complex quantitative analysis clearly and succinctly.
Automotive technical knowledge/experience.
Familiarity with automotive warranty systems and processes.
Proficiency with data extraction tools such as SQL, Business Objects, Cognos, etc.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in information technology, Computer Science, Applied Math, Statistics, Data Analytics, Data Science, or related field.
