**HOUSEKPEEING ATTENDANT JOB DESCRIPTION:**

**The Williamsburg Lodge and Conference Center:** This guest and conference facility combines the ambiance of an American folk-art motif with contemporary comforts and conveniences. Many of the 323 guest rooms feature cypress paneling, hardwood floors and rocking chairs. Families and conference attendees appreciate the spaciousness of the rooms in the Tazewell Wing.

Assist Room Attendants as needed to clean and prepare guest rooms per the Williamsburg Lodge requirements

Stock guest rooms with towels, linens, furnishings and other supplies a guest may need or request

Keep public area around cart clean

Rearrange some furniture as needed

Perform other duties as required

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

Ability to: (1) deal with the public and co-workers with tact and courtesy; (2) use a vacuum cleaner; (3) comprehend oral and written instructions

Willingness and ability to adhere to applicable grooming and appearance standards.

Six months to one year hotel housekeeping related experience.

**Must be available to work all shifts including days, nights, weekends, and holidays**

**Physical requirements include, but are not limited to**: (1) transporting objects weighing up to 150 pounds; (2) heavy cleaning and high and low dusting; (3) a great amount of walking in all types of weather and (4) lifting, standing and bending up to 8 hours daily.
