We are currently seeking a talented Dental Hygienist to work part-time or full time on a flexible schedule.

Your Role and Responsibilities:
Perform dental hygiene procedures, including routine cleanings, periodontal therapy, and preventive treatments, to maintain optimal oral health for patients.
Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including oral health evaluations, medical history reviews, and X-rays, to identify and address any dental concerns.
Provide patient education on oral hygiene techniques, dental care best practices, and the prevention of dental diseases.
Assist in the development and implementation of personalized treatment plans for patients, collaborating with the dental team to ensure coordinated and effective care.
Adhere to strict infection control protocols, including the use of personal protective equipment (PPE), and follow CDC COVID-19 guidelines to ensure the safety and well-being of patients and staff.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, documenting treatments, procedures, and any relevant findings.
Qualifications:
Valid and active New York State Dental Hygiene License.
Graduation from an accredited dental hygiene program.
Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, techniques, and best practices.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients and the dental team.
Ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of professionalism and attention to detail.

Responsibilities:Essential Responsibilities
Dental Hygienists are committed to improving the oral health of patients through the delivery of periodontal therapies and other hygiene-related services. Candidates must be enthusiastic about their dental work and willing to provide the highest level of care at all times.
Under limited supervision, the Dental Hygienist provides oral hygiene dental treatment and education in accordance with approved guidelines regulated by the state in which they work.
Patient screening, medical history and dental charting.
Application of fluoride and protective sealants. Removal of calculus, stain and plaque from above and below the gum line.
Provides nutritional counseling, and self-care programs to prevent disease.
