Security Clearance required: TS/SCI Cognosante is seeking to fill ‘Senior Network Administrator’ positions for the Department of Defense to support an Enterprise-wide IT contract for the US Army military intelligence community. The candidate will serve as a Network Administrator for the Army’s military intelligence NIPRnet, SIPRnet, and JWICS IT infrastructure at their specific duty location. Key Responsibilities (Bullets) Responsible for management, administration, and maintenance of Army client local & wide-area networks. Evaluates, develops and maintains telecommunications systems. Informs government stakeholder decisions regarding the purchase and installation of hardware, software, and telecommunication equipment. Manages network performance and maintains network security. Ensures security procedures are implemented and enforced. Troubleshoots network problems. Establishes and implements network policies, procedures and standards and ensures compliance with DISA, NETCOM, and Army information systems governance. Required Qualifications (Bullets) Active TS/SCI security clearance DoD IAT Level III Certification in one of the following: CASP CE, CCNP Security, CISA, CISSP, GCED, GCIH, CCSP Bachelor’s degree in a technology-related field 8-10 years of experience in Network Engineering, Network Administration, or Database Administration Communication skills to effectively interface with military officials and managers.
