An investment broker in Connecticut is actively seeking a dedicated and driven professional to join their staff as their new Investor Relations Analyst. As a member of their Business Development & Marketing team, the Investor Relations Analyst will assist the IR/BD team in positioning and differentiating the firn's credit products.

Responsibilities
The Investor Relations Analyst will:

• Profile prospective investors and prepare a strategic plan of outreach for each
• Develop and maintain an extensive prospective investor database to ensure an impactful outreach strategy
• Gather and synthesize market intelligence from a variety of public and private sources
• Research and monitor investor allocation changes and trends, competitor strategies, industry performance, and product types
• Develop a deep understanding of the Firm’s strategies and positions
• Support IR/BD on various ad hoc projects or product development initiatives across all of the Firm’s business lines

Qualifications

• Undergraduate degree
• 2-3 years of experience in an investor relations role at an alternative asset manager as an investment analyst at an allocator or consultant
• Familiarity with private credit strategies
• Entrepreneurial mindset and creative problem-solver
• Highly organized and process-oriented
• Strong project management skills and impeccable attention to detail
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• High level of maturity and sound judgment
