Environmental Consulting Project Director

Join our dynamic team and seamlessly integrate your consulting expertise with your entrepreneurial flair. As a "business developer," you'll harness your significant consulting experience, technical proficiency, leadership capabilities, and extensive client network. We're in search of a seasoned professional who excels in selling and consulting for environmental projects, covering site investigation and remediation programs, hazardous waste sites, compliance issues, and development initiatives.

Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive technical and project management support to clients throughout project execution.
• Exceed annual net revenue targets, aiming for half a million dollars with a profit margin of 20% or higher.
• Lead projects and cultivate key client relationships, overseeing staff management and development while identifying new business opportunities with the support of our business development team.
• Advocate for technical excellence and foster employee growth within the office, collaborating with other Principals to drive our collective vision and direction.

Skills and Experience:

• Hold a Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Environmental or Chemical); a Master's degree is advantageous.
• Possess a minimum of 10 years of environmental consulting experience.
• Maintain state license or professional certification, as appropriate.
• Demonstrate proficiency in state environmental programs/regulations; experience with refining, chemical manufacturing, and oil and gas programs is essential.
• Familiarity with project and program management software such as Microsoft Project and Excel or equivalent tools for budgeting, cost tracking, and scheduling..

Additional Skills and Proficiencies:

• Permitting: Title V (including minor and significant modifications), New Source Review (NSR), including PSD and NNSR, Minor Source, Miscellaneous Permitting Actions, Reasonable Possibility Review and Tracking, Agency Coordination.
• Reporting: Emissions Inventory (EI), Toxic Release Inventory (TRI), Tier II Reporting, Greenhouse Gas Reporting, Title V Certification Reports, Periodic NSPS/MACT Compliance Reports.
• Regulatory Compliance: Flare compliance programs, Continuous Emission Monitoring Systems (CEMS) compliance programs, Storage vessel compliance programs, Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engines (RICE MACT) compliance programs, Maintenance vent compliance programs.
• NSPS Proficiencies: Various subparts under 40 CFR 60 including General Provisions, Steam Generating Units, Petroleum Refineries, Petroleum Liquid/Volatile Organic Liquid (VOC) Storage Vessels, Asphalt Processing and Asphalt Roofing Manufacture, Synthetic Organic Chemicals Manufacturing Industry (SOCMI) Equipment Leaks, VOC Emissions from Polymer Manufacturing Industry, Petroleum Refineries Equipment Leaks, VOC Emissions from SOCMI Distillation Operations, VOC Emissions from Petroleum Refinery Wastewater Systems, VOC Emissions from SOCMI Reactor Processes, Stationary Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engines, and Crude Oil and Natural Gas Production, Transmission, and Distribution Facilities.
• NESHAP/MACT Proficiencies: Various subparts under 40 CFR 61 and 40 CFR 63 including General Provisions, Benzene Emissions from Benzene Transfer Operations, Benzene Waste Operations, Organic Hazardous Air Pollutants from SOCMI Industry (HON), Marine Tank Vessel Loading Operations, Petroleum Refineries, General Maximum Achievable Control Technology (MACT) Standards, Hazardous Waste Combustors, Organic Liquids Distribution, Miscellaneous Organic Chemical Manufacturing, Stationary Reciprocating Internal Combustion Engines (RICE MACT), and Industrial, Commercial, and Institutional Boilers and Process Heaters.
