Job Description
This is a great temp. to hire opportunity with a Laconia , NH area manufacturing facility .
Our client is seeking a Mechanical Assembler to become an integral part of their team .
You will assist in the assembly and testing of hydraulic mechanical components .
Those with mechanical assembly or mechanical maintenance and repair experience are encouraged to apply .
This is not small part assembly , assembled components range in size from 5 lbs to 350 lbs
Will be trained in the use of overhead cranes to move heavy components
Tools used include torque wrenches , grinders measuring tools such as height gauges , snap gauges .
Machine Shop working environment .
Hours : Mon. -Fri. 8:00 am -4:30 pm .
Pay rate : 18.00 -19.00 hr.
Additional Responsibilities:
- Work with a team to assemble entire products or components
- Rotate through tasks for specific production processes
- Conduct quality inspections on products and parts
- Prepare finished products for shipment
- Maintain a clean and orderly work area
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in manufacturing, assembly, or other related fields
- Familiarity with assembly tools and equipment
- Ability to handle physical workload
- Ability to work well in teams
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
