Washington City Mission is Hiring a Thrift Store sales Associate Near Uniontown, PA
- Uphold, promote, and encourage, in word and deed, the mission statement and core values of the City Mission.
- Clean and process bric-a-brac merchandise.
- Price, hang or fold clothing items in proper departments.
- Maintain clothing racks according to store rag-out/merchandising policies.
- Clean and straighten store daily.
- Assist store manager in maintaining store display standards.
- Follow and maintain safety requirements within assigned areas.
- Attend meetings
- Mature Christian, committed providing superior customer service to all customers who visit the store.
- Computer literate, proficient in email and timekeeping.
- Maintain good customer/donor relations.
- Maintain accurate store records.
- Ability to work varied shifts and weekend hours.
- May use dishwashing, steaming or washer and dryer equipment.
- High School diploma or equivalent, ability to count and use simple addition, subtraction, and multiplication, with 6 months of retail experience
- Be able and willing to share the Gospel and participate in the ministry activities of City Mission;
- Subscribe to City Mission Statement of Faith and Qualifications for Employment upon hire and continuously while employed;
- Adhere to the City Mission Employee Handbook.
