You will support the engineering design team for HVAC / Cooling / Mechanical Equipment that supports the Data Center Industry. The ideal candidate will have past experience designing commercial HVAC mechanical OEM Equipment specifically for cooling mission critical data center computer rooms.Responsibilities: Research, develop, design Mechanical and Electromechanical products and systems on new and existing industrial / commercial grade OEM EquipmentCreate design validations using both prototypes and testingIdentify, specify mechanical and electro-mechanical components when requiredMachine design for manufacturability and integrationOEM Products are Engineer to Order / Make to Order environment2 days remote / 3 days onsiteQualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering Degree / Mechanical Engineer a plus1-5 years' experience, entry level consideredCAD Modeling / Solidworks / AutoCAD / RevitEquipment sizing and calculationsExperience in a manufacturing environment / OEM Experience a huge plus!PE or EIT a plusKnowledge of commercial cooling systems, chiller systems and indoor computer room air conditioning (CRAC) and computer room air handling (CRAH) units, Mechanical Systems , HVAC , Boilers , Chillers , Pumps , etc.Effective Communicator emails, phone, and face to face.Ability to work independentlyProficiency in MS Office products, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and MS ProjectPrevious experience in the Military / Military Veterans a huge plus!
