Job Description
We are seeking a C Developer with a Top Secret Clearance for a 7 month contract (with option to extend further into 2025 and/or go permanent) in Germantown, MD. This role will be onsite/in the office Monday-Friday during normal business hours (there are no remote options) and will be joining an engineering team that develops embedded networking and application software using latest toolchains in an agile software development environment. In this role you will :

• Participate in software design, development, integration and support activities
• Analyze and resolve software issues

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
• 5 years of software development experience in C/C and automated unit testing
• Must currently hold Top Secret Clearance for this position

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or related field
• Experience with scripting languages Python/Shell, source control systems (e.g. GIT)
• Experience with web development viz. HTML/Javascript/JQuery/node.js
• Experience in Multi-threaded application development and inter-process communication
• Experience with networking protocols, messaging libraries, socket programming
• Experience of agile development methodology, especially Scrum and Atlassian tools like Jira
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to multi-task and work collaboratively within a team environment
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills

Additional Information
This 7 month contract (with option to extend further into 2025 and/or go permanent) will be onsite in Germantown, MD. This role will require an active Top Secret security clearance.
