Throughout your residency, you will work with our Success Coach team of dedicated nursing professional development specialists to build off those experiences. They will be always available to you — in person, virtually and through email — to answer questions and help you grow as a caregiver.
Cleveland Clinic’s J65 Cardiovascular Intensive Care Unit (CVICU) provides care to post-surgical patients that have had complex surgeries, such as aorta and aortic valve repair, open thoracic aortic aneurysm repair and thoracic endovascular stent repair (TEVAR). As a Registered Nurse (RN), you will participate in a year-long residency program, customized to fit you, your needs and your pace, where you will provide direct nursing care, be paired with a coach that guides you toward success, develop clinical judgement, cultivate excellent communication skills and acquire complex nursing skills.
