The primary function of this position will be to assist Technicians in welding / fabricating and assemble of dump truck bodies at our Manada Hill facility.

Description:

Installing and fabricating truck beds, frame modification and installation of designated parts to said job which consists of welding, wiring and installation of both hydraulic and airlines and installation of necessary parts to complete bed installation. Perform other duties as assigned.

The successful candidate must be able to confidently and safely weld, fabricate and assemble dump truck bodies on a variety of truck chassis.

The preferred candidate will have the following skills, or must be willing to take necessary course work and become proficient in the following skills:

- Mechanical Aptitude

- Welding, cutting torch and plasma cutter

- Basic electrical, chassis air systems and layout

- Fabrication

- Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics and drawings

- Overhead crane rigging and a willingness to learn product repair procedures

- Welding certification is a plus
