Job Description
Only seeking nurses... we are looking for a Case Manager who has experience in Utilization Review and Concurrent Review. This position is specific for weekend hours: Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Experience with Discharge Planning is a plus. Working knowledge of MCG, Interqual, or some software for criteria is desired, but we will provide ample training. *We are not a temp service.*
- Discuss care plans with the patient's physician and patient/family/significant other to assure appropriate services and plan for post-hospital care needs. -
- Perform pre-admission, admission concurrent, extended stay, and retrospective reviews using approved criteria -
- Thorough understanding of authorization process and work closely with payors to coordinate services
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract
Expected hours: 25 - 30 per week
