ClearVista Behavioral Health is Hiring a Mental Health Technician (MHT) Manager Near Lorain, OH

ClearVista Behavioral Health is a new, state of the art Behavioral Health Hospital in Lorain, Ohio . We are currently recruiting for a Mental Health Technician (MHT) Manager.

Job duties & responsibilities
  • Support the therapeutic milieu under the direction of Nursing and Clinical leadership
  • Ensure that the schedule/program is consistently delivered, patients are supervised, safety is maintained, and patients and guests are treated with respect and dignity.
  • Assist with scheduling.
  • Assists with feedback in the evaluation process of MHTs and helps manage training, resources, and support for MHTs
Qualifications & Experience requirements
  • College Education/Associate's Degree
  • At least 2 years working in behavioral health setting with supervisory experience
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Understanding of resident rights and care procedures and standards, within the scope of environmental service
  • Ability to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant such action.
  • Ability to deal tactfully with staff, residents, family members, visitors, government agencies, and the general public.
  • Ability and willingness to work harmoniously with all staff.
  • Must have patience, tact, and enthusiasm, as well as the willingness to handle difficult residents.
  • Willingness and ability to be flexible in new methods and principles, as well as willingness to incorporate them into existing environmental service practices
  • Computer literacy and skills including Microsoft software including but not limited to Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Prior Scheduling software experience preferred
  • Ability to openly communicate at all levels of the organization
