Diesel Mechanic Technician Duties :

• Perform routine preventative maintenance and general reconditioning of equipment on Class 1 through Class 8 vehicles
• Diagnose, document, and repair engine fault codes (Company supplied OEM software) following proper warranty procedures
• Repair / Replace brakes, steering components, suspension, and perform alignments
• Replace clutches & transmissions

Mobile Technician Duties:

• Will start and finish each day in our Braintree shop and will support Miller Truck Leasing customers within a 50-60 mile radius of Braintree with use of company truck.
• Perform Vehicle Condition Reports (DVCR's) on all trucks and perform required work at customer locations throughout the Braintree area

Requirements

• Prior experience working as a diesel mechanic, fleet mechanic, or heavy equipment mechanic
• A valid CDL (Class A or B) or the ability to acquire a Commercial Driver License with the assistance of our trainer
• Hand tools
• Ability to work 2nd shift: Monday-Friday 2:00pm-10:30pm
