POSITION SUMMARY We are currently seeking an entry-level Resource Planning Specialist to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for analyzing, and maintaining medium- and short-term plans for staff and equipment, as well as rosters for the assigned business area. Your work will be aligned with our business plans, strategy, and Service Level Agreement (SLA).

  • Analyzing and maintain plans for staff and equipment, aligning with business plans and SLAs.
  • Support infrastructure and operational projects.
  • Apply statistical and optimization methods for decision-making and policy formulation.
  • Utilize industrial engineering techniques to improve resource management processes.
  • Complete system user training on resource planning software.
  • Analyze data, identify trends, and address resource planning challenges.
  • Communicate effectively with stakeholders and negotiate resource allocation.
  • Apply creativity and lateral thinking to optimize resource utilization.
  • Document project reports and processes for future reference.
  • Utilize advanced MS Office and Excel skills for data analysis and reporting.
  • Optional Knowledge of Power BI for data visualization and analysis.
NONESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

This salary range and is influenced by the level of experience. When calculating the base pay, we take into account various factors such as location, qualifications, training, and experience as part of the overall compensation package. $64,000.00 - $74,000.00EDUCATION Bachelor’s degree or Associates Degree with 3 years of experience in fields related to resource management and scheduling, including BPR, Method Study, Work Measurement, and Operations Research.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • System user training required on INFORM suite.
  • Strong analytical ability and problem-solving skills.
  • Effective communication (written and verbal) and negotiation skills.
  • Creativity and lateral thinking.
  • Systematic documentation of project reports/systems and processes.
  • Advanced MS Office and Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of Power BI is a plus.
  • Inflight Catering Industry a plus.
  • Food Manufacturing Industry a plus.
Intellectual/Social demandsWhile performing the essential functions of this job, the employee is continuously asked to multi-task under time limits. Position requires constant attention to precise details and accuracy of specified standards including following simple to complex (more than 3 steps) instructions, and concentration which frequently extends beyond 30 minutes at a time. This position also requires constant attendance and punctuality - Is consistently at work and on time. Follows instructions, responds to management direction; Takes responsibility for own actions; Completes tasks on time or notifies appropriate person with an alternate plan. Meets productivity standards; Completes work in timely manner; Strives to increase productivity; Works quickly.
Physical demandsWhile performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand, walk; reach with hands and arms and stoop, kneel, or crouch. The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 30 pounds.
