Clarke of Roselle, IL is seeking to hire a seasonal Residential Mosquito Technician that will be responsible for applying a barrier treatment of insecticide to residential areas, key accounts, or special events. Utilizing a backpack sprayer and/or electric club car, the Residential Mosquito Technician will safely treat forested areas outdoors and help slow the re-infestation of mosquitoes. WORK SCHEDULE AND SALARY This position earns a competitive wage of $19/hr. Multiple shifts available (with a $.50 pay differential). The Residential Mosquito Tech works a 40 hour work week and supports the summer seasonal operation (generally May - September). A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A RESIDENTIAL MOSQUITO TECHNICIAN As a Residential Mosquito Technician, you are responsible for utilizing a 50lb backpack and/or club car to perform barrier treatments around customer accounts and properties. A work ticket will be given to you by your supervisor for you to utilize as you drive to customer accounts and provide professional service. You have excellent attention to detail as you apply treatments accurately, safely, and in a timely manner. Your passion for public health shines through as you complete your work each day. BENEFITS

QUALIFICATIONS FOR A RESIDENTIAL MOSQUITO TECHNICIAN
Be 18 years of age or older
Possess a high school degree or equivalent with high school level math skills
Communicate effectively in English in both written and verbal forms
Have a valid Driver's License with an excellent driving record
Ability to sit and drive a vehicle for extended periods of time as well as walk extensively
Required to pass the Illinois Department of Agriculture General Standards Exam (training provided)
Capable of using smartphones, GPS, system applications
Capable of mixing, measuring and pouring product formulations
Ability to bend, lift, and carry a 50-75lb backpack for extensive periods of time
