Civil & Environmental Consultants, Inc. (CEC) has an opening for an Environmental Technician in our Tucson, AZ office. The successful candidate will:
Our Environmental Technicians are required to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment, and will be responsible for completing assigned work in accordance with a strict schedule.
* 1-4 years of related experience;* Excellent verbal and written communication skills;
* Strong documentation skills and attention to detail is a must;
* Experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Project) is preferred;* Solid organizational and time management skills; * Experience with due diligence, compliance and permitting, site assessments (Phase I and II), and subsurface investigations;
* B.S. in Environmental Engineering or a related field preferred;
* HAZWOPER training is a plus;
* AHERA asbestos inspector and or EPA Lead-Based Paint Inspector or Risk Assessor certification would be ideal.
