CityVet - Richardson is looking for a Practice Manager to join our BRAND NEW team! At CityVet, we know our team of happy people is as unique and diverse as the pets we care for. Putting people first

The Practice Manager (PM) is responsible for the management of the facility in its entirety, including business management, financial management and overall clinical operations management. It is the Practice Managers job to ensure the highest level of customer experience satisfaction and efficient staff management. It is the job of the Practice Manager to implement and enforce all CityVet policies, standards and procedures.

Essential qualifications:

  • Understanding of state and federal safety standards
  • Knowledge of regulations governing veterinary clinics
  • Certified Veterinary Practice Manager is desirable, but not required
  • High school diploma/GED 3 years relevant experience or bachelor’s degree

A day in the life:

  • Interview, hire, onboard, train and supervise facility staff members to ensure their understanding of the job responsibilities and career path opportunities outlined by their role that result in a successful and contributing team member.
  • Continuous staff development through professional and clinical training, timely performance and salary reviews, completing disciplinary actions, up to and including termination to ensure the individual and collective success of the facility as outlined in the CityVet brand standards, policies and procedures.
  • Monitor and maintain quality control of all daily operations, client care, client service and client records.
