DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW Transportation and Parking Services (TAPS) supports the University's mission by providing access to UC Santa Cruz, acting as fiscal stewards, and managing the sustainable planning, design, and operation of safe and equitable bicycle/pedestrian programs, transit services, parking, and other transportation-related needs. More information can be found at: https://taps@ucsc.edu JOB SUMMARY Under general supervision of, and reporting to, the Parking Enforcement Manager, a Senior Parking Representative works variable days and hours enforcing campus and state parking rules and regulations by methodically patrolling parking lots and roads on foot and in a vehicle and writing parking citations. In addition, a parking representative provides a variety of other services for the campus community and is responsible for a small amount of daily administrative work. APPOINTMENT INFORMATION Budgeted Salary: $28.15/per hour. Salary commensurate with skills, qualifications and experience.Under California law, the University of California, Santa Cruz is required to post a reasonable estimate of the compensation for this role. The salary shown above is the budgeted amount the University reasonably expects to pay and the salary extended should not exceed this posted amount.
