The City of Minot is now accepting applications for Project Civil Engineer I – Municipal in the Engineering Department. This position will remain open until filled. Please review the attached job description for complete information.

Nature of Work:

The Municipal Engineer works within the Engineering Department and assists with engineering duties related to maintenance of the City’s roadway network. These are tasks including but not limited to:

• Design and drafting of maintenance, rehabilitation, and reconstruction projects
• Construction observation of street, utility, and federal aid construction projects 
• Survey and data collection of city infrastructure assets

Education and Experience Requirements: 

Bachelor’s degree from an ABET accredited college or university with major course work in civil engineering or a related field and two years of experience in construction or engineering related to public works projects; or any equivalent combination of training and experience. Possession of, or ability to obtain, an appropriate, valid registration as an Engineer Intern.

Possession of a valid North Dakota Driver License.

 Compensation and Benefits

• The assigned salary range for the position of Project Civil Engineer I under the 2023 City of Minot Pay Plan is Grade 66, which is an annual salary range of $64,713- $96,067.
• This is a full time, salaried, FLSA Exempt Position
