EXAMPLE OF DUTIES Position Essentials: Administers first aid in the event of injury, rescues swimmers in distress or danger of drowning, and administers CPR, if necessary.Maintains constant surveillance of the beach area. Knows, understands, and consistently applies and enforces safety and beach/pool rules, policies and guidelines.Knows all emergency procedures and responds to emergency situations immediately in accordance with City of Minnetonka policies and procedures.Communicates professionally, effectively, and concisely, both orally and in writing.Responsible for clean-up of facility, beach, and general maintenance duties Communicates with and maintains effective relationships with the members, participants, and other staff.Understands, follows and enforces all facility rules.Provide excellent customer service and maintain a positive public image by immediately addressing questions and concerns from staff, patrons, participants, and parents. Contact and ask for assistance from the coordinator or manager when necessary. SUPPLEMENTAL INFORMATION Physical Demands/Work Environment: Moderately physically demanding work, typically involving a combination of occasional climbing, stooping, kneeling, and crouching. Occasionally lifts and/or move items weighing up to 30 lbs or heavier items (300 lbs) with assistance.
