LF Staffing in Vero Beach is immediately looking to hire an experienced ELECTRONICS TECHNICIAN for an immediate opportunity with an area MANUFACTURER.

Job Summary: Responsible for testing, evaluation, and repair of Radiofrequency electronic devices and products to ensure the products perform to required standards.

Job Duties may include but are not limited to:

• Perform testing on Assembled Printed Circuit Boards , Unit Testing and Top-level testing and analysis of products. Troubleshoot and repair products to meet performance requirements.
• Provide tech support to a variety of departments.
• Create or update work procedures or instructions as needed.
• Identify and make recommendations on product / design improvement(s).
• Calibrate and maintain testing equipment / stations.
• Proficient in soldering and re-work techniques in accordance with IPC-610 and IPC-7711.
• Familiarity with IPC-7711 Electronic Assembly and rework standards, IPC-A-600 Acceptability of Printed Boards, and other applicable standards relevant to PCB and PCBA fabrication and quality is a plus.
• Proper working knowledge of ESD (Electrostatic Discharge). Successful completion of ESD training.
• Lean Manufacturing (or Six Sigma) experience is a plus.
• Strong computer skills including Excel, Word and Power Point required
• Exceptional verbal and written English communication skills
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision
• Ability to properly use test equipment properly, including but not limited to Oscilloscope and DMM (Digital Multi Meter).
• Knowledge of advanced quality problem solving techniques used in root cause analysis (5-Why, Fishbone diagram, etc.)

Minimum Qualifications:

• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Education: ASEE or ASEET degree and/or equivalent experience is desired.
• 5 years’ experience in electronics manufacturing, service, and/or repair.
• Experience in RF, Digital and Analog circuitry
• Ability to meet the physical demands of working in a manufacturing testing environment, including but not limited to lifting up to 50 lbs., climbing ladders, moving between various floors of the building, walking, kneeling, crouching, reaching, hearing, and other similar activities.
