We are currently hiring, and you would be the perfect candidate if you can answer “this is so me!” to the following:

As the Special Events Manager, you will...

  • Manage all incoming leads via Open Table, telephone, email and other channels; assists with managing event software
  • Close deals and assist guests from start to finish with all event planning needs
  • Manage annual sales goals for selected restaurants by booking group events
  • Seek out new sales opportunities and partnerships, initiating action plans and attending networking events to procure new business
  • Build guest loyalty and book repeat business
  • Communicate with the service team all event details; partners with General Manager and Executive Chef to ensure that each event is flawlessly executed against objectives
  • Book small to large events and able to prioritize tasks efficiently
  • Works on-site to build a solid team atmosphere

Qualifications

  • Have 3 years of experience in a high volume events environment
  • Restaurant or similar experience preferred
  • Strong oral and written communication skills
  • Catering/event software experience
  • Able to work flexible, sometimes long hours
  • Excellent customer service
