Citizens Memorial Hospital (CMH) is recruiting a Registered Nurse for the Perianesthesia (pre/PACU). The ideal candidate will be licensed in Missouri
This position is Full Time, Days. Call is 1 weekend in every 8/10 weeks and 3-4 days/month.
The position requires NO SCHEDULED EVENING/NIGHT SHIFT HOURS
Their primary responsibilities include answering patient questions and addressing their concerns, interviewing and preparing patients for the surgery, observing vital signs, sedating patients, administering the necessary medication and IV drips, recovering patients after surgery, managing patients pain and evaluating responses to treatments and interventions, keeping the patient informed throughout the duration of the procedure, completing all necessary documentation including patient notes and discharge documents, providing assistance to Doctors throughout the procedure, among other duties. This position does require staffed hours in both the hospital and outpatient surgery locations, easy transition between the two buildings.
