POSITION TITLE: Manager of Engineering and Operations (Newly Created Position!)
REPORTS TO: Vice President of Engineering
OBJECTIVES:
Ensures that the Citizens Electric system is kept in compliance with needed regulatory testing, oversee system maintenance, provide expertise on complex technical problems, and serve as a liaison with Engineering and Operation groups.
SUPERVISES:
GIS Technician and AMI/Automation Specialist
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
Electrical Engineering degree preferred. An equivalent combination of experience and/or training may be considered in lieu of formal education.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Works in the office and in the field. Regularly works near moving mechanical parts; in outside weather conditions; and is regularly exposed to wet and/or humid conditions, fumes or airborne particles, extreme cold, extreme heat, risk of electrical shock and vibration. May be required to work outside of normal work hours and travel overnight. Must work overtime as required.
GEOGRAPHIC REQUIREMENTS:
Due to civil and community development and emergency response time, the company preference is that the person fulfilling this position lives within the district in which he/she reports.
