What is this role?
As the Senior Manufacturing Engineer for Cirkul, you will be responsible for leading and developing a team of engineers and technicians at the plant level in continuous improvement of manufacturing execution systems for equipment including, but not limited to: centerlines, Clean-Inspect-Lubricate (CIL), Defect Elimination, Breakdown Elimination, Workplace Organization (WPO)/5S, etc. You will also serve as the technical support on the equipment and lead reapplication, small and large scale projects, and loss elimination/continuous improvement activities. This role is a combination of hands-on field work and system/process/structure execution.
What does an average day look like?
Driving Results: Lead small & large scale projects, equipment loss analysis, reapplication activities, product & process upgrades, improvements, and initiatives.
Taking Ownership: Develop, execute, and lead manufacturing execution systems.
Making Decisions: Develop new concepts of manufacturing equipment from idea to implementation on the production floor.
Cultivating Relationships: Lead a team of engineers and technicians to use data and in the field experience to troubleshoot and improve performance (Availability, Mean Time Between Failures (MTBF), Mean Time to Repair MTTR etc.) of various high speed industrial equipment.
Instilling Trust: Help develop safety and quality initiatives and implement them in a timely manner.
Customer Focus: Quickly problem solve and work alongside the manufacturing, engineering, and production teams to ensure that all equipment is meeting and exceeding standards to ensure high quality product delivery.
What background should you have?

• 7-10 years of manufacturing engineering experience.
• Bachelor's degree in engineering required.
• Strong electromechanical aptitude as it pertains to industrial manufacturing equipment (fillers, packers, palletizers, PLCs, reading electrical schematics, troubleshooting and problem solving)
• Experience developing and leading other engineers and personnel, proven track record of continuous improvement in a high paced manufacturing environment.
• Proven project management skills and ability to effectively communicate to ensure that projects are delivered on time and up to standards.
• Willing to work hard, stay until the job is complete, and demonstrate resilience.
• Have a positive attitude, willing to work multiple levels of employees, and thrive in a fast paced environment.
