MTI Builders is seeking a Commercial Construction Superintendent to join our team! We have serviced the Los Angeles area for over 20 years specializing in commercial construction. You will oversee project planning, scheduling, budgeting, and implementation.

Complete Development Knowledge of Car Wash, Fuel Center, and Convenience Store Preffered.

Pay shown is California Average, pay depends on experience.

The ideal Construction superintendent candidate must be experienced with on-and off-site, wet and dry utilities, experience with ground-up projects, have 10 years of verifiable field experience in supervising projects by interfacing with owners, tenants, architects, engineers, and building inspectors. Will work closely with the project manager to assure timely and profitable project completion. Must possess a good working knowledge of grading, concrete, framing, mechanical, plumbing, electrical and structural systems, as well as an eye for detail in the finished project. Computer literacy is required. Must be able to work nights and weekends as needed. Reliable transportation is required. Responsibilities:

  • Oversee all aspects of construction project from planning to implementation
  • Allocate resources for assigned projects
  • Supervise onsite personnel and subcontractors
  • Interface with project inspectors, contractors, architects, engineers, city and county officials, and clients
  • Negotiate with contractors to receive reasonable order costs
  • Maintain high standards of workmanship that adhere to original plans and specifications

Qualifications:

  • Previous experience in construction management or other related fields
  • Familiarity with construction management software
  • Strong leadership qualities
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Deadline and detail-oriented
