Chevo is hiring a Senior Business Analyst to join our expanding firm. Qualified candidates must have strong analytical and strategic communications writing skills. The ideal candidate will have experience reviewing assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial, and technological risks. The candidate will also identify opportunities for improvement and efficiency. The focus of this position is to work closely with the business units to gain in-depth understanding of customer's business strategy, processes, services, roadmap and the context in which the business operates. This position will be remote with limited in-person client meetings in New Carrollton, MD.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Conduct business process analysis to identify opportunities for automation
• Conduct and manage stakeholder interviews
• Provide management and technical oversight for each project, ensuring quality and best practices are applied to each project
• Produce high-quality documentation including but not limited to status reports, program charter, work breakdown structure, organizational readiness plan, training plans, lessons learned reports, strategic roadmaps and operating models, and risk/issue register
• Prepare agendas, transcribes meeting notes, tracks necessary information, and creates reports and meeting minutes
• Attend GOV PM meetings (when applicable) to discuss project status and possible new projects and initiatives
• Perform quality assurance reviews of technical deliverables
• Collaborate with clients and team members to plan, develop, and implement requirements
• Responsible for implementation, change management adoption and integration, and other duties as needs evolve
• Draft new or updated processes or procedures, including guidance and control documents, and implement best practices into the enterprise
• Interview clients to understand needs and develop business process models, functionality mapping, and strategic communications
• Track all phases of the lifecycle including initiating, planning, executing, monitoring and controlling, and closing
• Review assigned business processes from end-to-end to identify and address operational, financial, and technological risks.
• Support and align efforts to meet customer and business needs.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in business, Finance, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
• Five plus (5 ) years managerial experience, along with strong experience managing multiple workstreams. 
• Ten (10) years’ professional experience in requirements elicitation, IT project management, enterprise life cycle, organizational change management, and data analysis
• Five (5) years’ experience supporting federal government clients (Internal Revenue Service experience a plus)
• Ability to analyze, synthesize, and convey information for client deliverables
• Possess a great attention to detail and effective time management skills.
• Ability to interact with multiple project team members and client personnel at various organizational levels in a professional manner
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Proven ability to manage competing priorities
• Ability to pass a credit check and high-level federal security clearance requirements
