Chatham University's Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) Program is a 2.5-year residential program that produces highly skilled physical therapists, emphasizing critical thinking and self-directed learning using a modified problem-based learning approach. For nearly 30 years, we have prepared PTs to meet the challenges of a dynamic healthcare environment and support scholarly activity bridging science and clinical practice. Chatham's DPT Program has well-established collaborative relationships with local institutions for research, teaching, and clinical practice.

The Physical Therapy Program is one of the first that formed the School of Health Sciences. Additionally, the School offers programs in occupational therapy, physician assistant studies, nursing, counseling psychology, athletic training, and exercise science.
Position Summary:
This 12-month appointment will be tenure-eligible and shall hold the rank of Assistant or Associate Professor of Physical Therapy. We are seeking an individual with expertise in Pediatric Physical Therapy who values collegiality and is motivated to contribute to the Program's excellent reputation for entry-level education. As a faculty member on the tenure track, the candidate will be required to engage in teaching, scholarship, advising, and service, and must hold a license to practice as a physical therapist in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.
