Description
Channel Control Merchants Distribution Center is looking for someone with dependable transportation, good work ethic, and a great attitude to join our team!
As a Warehouse Pricer, you will be responsible for pulling materials, packing boxes, labeling products with pricing, and placing merchandise in the delivery areas. This position is located in Blue Mountain, MS.
Schedule :
2nd Shift: Monday - Friday 3:30pm - 11:30pm (Saturdays *)
Part-time hours 5:00 pm-11:00 pm
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Move material from racks or mod to designated areas as appropriate.
• Adhere to vendor required processes and procedures protocol
• Follow all safety and housekeeping procedures.
• Complete all New Hire Training Program requirements
• Operate all equipment necessary to perform the job
• Use tabletop scanner to price merchandise
• Place pricing label on every merchandise from raw pallet or gaylord
• Use safety scrapers to relabel clearance stickers or any labels that needs to be removed
• Place priced merchandise in totes located in carousel
• Repack loose merchandise into clear zip lock bags for storage
• Lookup merchandise on the Internet if the pricing of the merchandise is unknown
• Remove merchandise from the gaylord to be priced
• Connect electrical equipment to power sources so that it can be tested before use
• Mark and label merchandise using marking tools
• Follow appropriate standard operation procedures (SOPs) as guideline for operating and maintaining merchandise
• Physically move or transport the priced merchandise to the building area and ensure that it is damaged free PHYSICAL
REQUIREMENTS:
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must have ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Must have ability to stand for extended periods (entire shift) and to move and handle boxes of merchandise and fixtures.
