Vaco is searching for a Senior Branch Support Specialist, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Bank Operations and other areas of the bank by providing a wide range of back-office operational support duties. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the efficient and accurate performance of assigned operational functions, maintaining a high standard of customer service, and optimizing departmental workflow. You will collaborate across the organization to address complex back-office bank operational issues and serve as the subject matter expert in various operational areas, products, and services. Additionally, you will provide bank-wide operational support, monitoring, and customer assistance.
Responsibilities:

1. Assist the Manager in developing expertise in daily back-office banking operations.
2. Provide efficient and accurate operational support to internal business partners and/or clients, ensuring smooth daily departmental operations.
3. Mitigate risk, verify audit compliance, and maintain procedural quality control.
4. Ensure compliance with established Bank policies, procedures, and state and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

1. High School Diploma.
2. 3 years of direct, related experience in branch banking operations.
3. Intermediate knowledge of general banking operations, including deposit operations, loan administration, treasury management, and/or other commercial banking products and services.
4. Intermediate understanding of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards, and practices.
5. Ability to independently research and solve simple to moderately complex scenarios.
6. Experience in back-office banking operations is preferred.
