Works-in-Progress Associates (WPA) is currently seeking a Senior Project Manager to join our team! The candidate must have experience in managing numerous projects including project planning, reviewing project schedules, project controls and reporting, resource management, and construction document reading and interpretation. This position is in-person, Monday-Friday, working with the Office of General Services (OGS) at the Empire State Plaza in Albany, NY.

Minimum Requirements:

• Baccalaureate Degree in engineering/architecture and/or construction related field from an accredited college or university.
• Minimum of 10 years of experience in construction involving multiple phases of larger scale building/rehabilitation projects, with a similar knowledge base as mentioned for a project manager. A minimum of 5 years of experience shall be in the role of project manager responsible for larger scale projects valued above $15M.
• Must have a proficient level of knowledge relative to all aspects of construction management.
• OSHA 30 is required.
• A driver's license valid in New York State.
• Demonstrated proficiency with all applicable software packages including but not limited to MS Windows; MS Office (including Project, Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint), and Adobe Acrobat.
• Must be authorized to work in the United States
• Must be willing to undergo a background check, in accordance with local law/regulations.

Responsibilities:

• Program management of a varied portfolio of projects from an owner’s perspective including, project planning, tracking schedule performance, and project controls for monitoring of various building construction and renovation projects.
• Project involvement will begin in the initial planning stages through completion to assure that projects meet internal requirements, are within cost limitations, and are completed per schedule.
