Central Valley Training Center has been serving adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities and/or dual diagnosis for the last 40 years and we are currently looking for an upbeat, organized, and detail oriented individual to lead our team in the Fresno area as the RAPID Program Director (RPD).

RAPID (Respond, Assist, Plan, Implement, Debrief) is a 24/7 crisis response program that assists individuals with behaviors in crisis at our RAPID units, which is a 6-plex complex building in a neighborhood environment. We aspire to provide these individuals with their own space where they can be supported by our direct support professionals as they work toward meeting their goals of reducing behaviors, finding placement, etc.

The RPD provides leadership and management to all aspects of the RAPID program and is responsible for overseeing the areas of budgeting, program design and implementation, project planning, staff development and training, evaluation and direction of program services.

Some of your duties will include:

Leadership:

- Promote service commitment, alignment and teamwork.

- Participate as a team member of the Corporate Management Team

- Provide efficient communication practices.

- Provide employees clear information of job duties, job performance, and job standards.

- Provide direct service to consumers on an intermittent and/or temporary basis.

Quality Services & Customer Satisfaction

- Ensure that the services for the care, treatment, training, and safety of consumers are fully implemented and maintained including, but not limited to, assisting with feeding, toileting, and crisis intervention.

- Assess the abilities, wants, and needs of individual consumers and develop Individual Service Plans (ISP's) which coincide with consumers' Individual Program Plans (IPP's).

- Coordinate and monitor schedules and staff and consumers to ensure participation in activities identified in Individual Service Plans.

Supervision

- Develop and present annual plan and budgetary requirements to the Controller.

- Participate in personnel decisions in accordance with policies and procedures.

- Supervise assigned staff by directing and assigning duties; assuring adequate personnel coverage; and selecting, training, supervising, monitoring and evaluating the performance of employees consistent with personnel policies and procedures.

Minimum Requirements: Valid California Driver's License, Auto Insurance, Vehicle Available for Use Daily, CA DMV Printout, DOJ/FBI background check and fingerprint clearance, completion of a pre-employment physical, tb test, and drug screen.

Education Requirement: A B.A. in Psychology, social work or related human services field and a minimum of one year experience in the management of a human services delivery, or three years of experience in a human services delivery system including at least one year in a management or supervisory position and two years of experience or training in one of the following: A) Care and supervision of clients in a licensed adult day program, or an adult day health care facility. B) Care and supervision of one or more of the categories of persons to be served by the day program. b) Administrators of adult day programs employed prior to January 1, 2007, shall remain qualified provided that they have no break in employment as an adult day program administrator exceeding three consecutive years.
