Brief summary of role:

The Revenue Operations Senior Accountant will report directly to the Manager of Revenue Accounting in the Finance team.

What you will be doing:

Manage day to day relationships with Deal Desk and SalesOps teams:

• Provide timely and accurate accounting information to the Deal Desk and SalesOps
• Collaborating cross-functionally with the sales and legal teams to ensure that revenue-related clauses meet ASC 606 and audit compliance requirements.
• Track and gather records on mismatched data between the contract and Salesforce Opportunity and report high-level findings to the management monthly.
• Assist in providing training and guidance to SalesOps and Deal Desk teams on revenue-related policies and procedures ensuring company-wide understanding and compliance.
• Work with Deal Desk to make sure contracts are structured correctly in SFDC to enable accurate Billing and Revenue recognition.

Review and analyze contracts/agreements and apply ASC 606:

• Ensure that revenue is recognized in the proper periods and is within GAAP guidance.
• Ensure revenue allocated correctly between SaaS, Hardware, Professional Services.
• Request and review provisioning dates, signature dates and hardware ship dates
• Deferred Revenue reconciliations between subledger and GL.

Work with Revenue Accounting Manager on Zuora Billing and Zuora Revenue:

• Manage the monthly billing reconciliation between Salesforce and Billing (Zuora) systems and work with Deal Desk to reconcile and document the gap
• Address billing related issues from Zuora and driving the support tickets to completion.

What we are looking for:

• 5 years of relevant experience with focus on revenue and order to cash process.
• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Knowledge and experience in US GAAP including chart of accounts, journal entries, balance sheets, and reconciliation.
• Must possess problem recognition and resolution skills.
• Knowledge on ASC 606 Rev Rec
• Working experiences in using Salesforce
• Hands-on experiences in Zuora (Revpro) Billing

Preferred Skills:

• Experiences in using Salesforce CPQ
