COOK SYSTEMS has an immediate need for a Event Strategy & Planning Specialist (Contractor) to work in Memphis, TN (hybrid/3 days onsite)

Top Daily Job Duties:
This role will be responsible for managing the logistical aspects of events including catering, design and managing budgets
Provide set up assistance on complex Seminars and Signature events
Determine room layouts based upon dimensions and attendee needs
Responsible for leading and scheduling planning meetings
Responsible for managing timeline and schedule of vendors for standard events
This position involves supporting and assisting Advisors and Senior Advisors on design and audience activation strategies for Standard, Seminar and Signature events. It involves assisting on the execution of the logistical plans and ensuring that event collateral and branding align with campaign messaging.
Essential Job Functions:
Assist on logistical plans for event experiences that align with program and organizational goals by utilizing design principles to coordinate with partners on concepts, design, and engagement strategies.
Implement best practices for meeting agendas/recap, event checklist, SOS, RFPs, event budgets, etc
Schedules meetings with partners, committees, and other external stakeholders
Provide onsite assistance to Advisors and Senior Advisors for complex Seminars and Signature events
Under the direction of our leaders, the candidate will eagerly absorb and apply audience engagement techniques across various events. This role demands the ability to juggle several projects simultaneously while maintaining effective communication.
