CENTRA Technology Inc. has open positions for Geospatial Analysts to support a dynamic big-data focused office. Successful candidates will work in an integrated government-contractor team fusing intelligence data from multiple intelligence disciplines.

Required Skills and Experience:

• Provide geospatial analytics and geographic information systems (GIS) modeling support
• Provides expertise in the use and application of geospatial technologies, geospatial analysis, and produces integrated GIS products
• Compiles, acquires, and processes raster and vector data and manages associated attribute tables
• Integrates advanced GIS technologies and imagery to support intelligence analysis
• Identifies new geospatial and imagery exploitation techniques and methodologies and provides guidance on the techniques
• Proficient in geospatial software packages including Esri’s ArcGIS, Boundless’ QGIS, Erdas IMAGINE, ENVI, Remoteview and Google Earth
• Trains customer personnel and serves as a technical consultant
• Uses existing or creates new GIS tools to conduct geospatial analysis in support of the Sponsor’s mission
• Conceptual, quantitative, organizational, research, writing, verbal communication, and graphical representation skills
• Sound judgment and creative problem solving and independent working skills
• Sound interpersonal and teamwork skills to work with individuals and organizations, to include varying levels and types (Government, industry, and academia)
• Facilitation skills to bring diverse groups together on issues and reach consensus across stakeholders
• The ability to perform complex analyses and to communicate its results using accurate, concise, and effective writing and through descriptive and graphical representations
