The Business Intelligence Analyst will be a member of the Enterprise Analytics team and be responsible for the design, implementation and maintenance of self service business intelligence portals, dashboards, and other associated reporting platforms. This person is responsible for implementing and maintaining reporting and business intelligence solutions to support all necessary divisions of Baptist Health. The Analyst uses Baptist Health Data Management Principles to guide the work and coordinates activities among stakeholders across Baptist Health to understand data definitions, data needs, and gaps. The analyst must be able to develop and maintain effective interpersonal relationships with other departments, maintain confidentiality of all data, information, and activities, and be able to perform detailed, quality work in a timely fashion. Description
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, business analytics, or related field is required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience working with large scale applications required.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in report/dashboard development which includes using one or more tools such as Business Objects, SQL Server Reporting Services, Tibco Spotfire, Qlikview, or Tableau required
  • Minimum1 year of experience in work or academic setting leveraging data modeling using a relational database management system required
  • Knowledge of data warehouse/ETL design and development methodologies
  • Communication and data presentation skills are required
  • Self-starter with a proven ability to create project plans and take initiative to successfully execute to completion or adjust as analysis requires.
  • Ability to successfully complete work within rigid time constraints.
  • Reasoning ability and good independent judgment.
  • Work well in a progressive, team-oriented environment.
  • Ability to scope, plan, prioritize and manage multiple tasks and projects
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
