Presbyterian Medical Services is Hiring an Accounts Receivable Supervisor Near Albuquerque, NM
JOB CATEGORY: ACCOUNTING / MANAGEMENT / BOOKKEEPING
POSITION SUMMARY: This position supervises a team of Accounts Receivable Specialists responsible for accounts receivable follow-up, third party payer and patient collections, patient and payer telephone inquiries, and incoming correspondence. In addition, this position is responsible for performing a variety of accounts receivable tasks with a focus on aged accounts, payer discrepancies and disputed claims.
Qualifications
REQUIREMENTS
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Five years of healthcare cash posting, billing, Third party follow-up and collections experience required; OR a combination of education and/or experience in business or related field totaling five years.
- One year of supervisory experience preferred.
- Knowledge of automated business applications, including word-processing, spreadsheet and data base management applications required.
- Data entry experience and knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and third-party insurance preferred.
